Councillors approve plans by The Arch Company to revitalize 10 disused railway arches on Corporation Street in Manchester. The £4m development will transform the arches into retail, leisure, and F&B units, with new glazed frontages and infrastructure. The project, part of The Arch Company’s Project 1000, aims to repurpose derelict spaces across England and Wales by 2030. Santosh Patel from Pick Everard emphasizes the project's celebration of Manchester's industrial heritage and its contribution to the city's social value and regeneration efforts.
